Facades as Sounding boards of the soul
In this series the almost 2-dimensional representation of facades is highlighted. The abstract and graphical qualities of buildings are represented as pure as possible.
Architectural facades in a plain 2-dimensional view, have a particular place in my work as an artist / photographer. With the right mix of colour, light and rhythm they can provide a unique magic to one's eyes. To me each of these selected images have their own particular visual story / melody / chords of emotion. The surfaces may not be very deep, but through their graphical abstraction they are transformed into sounding boards of the soul. Please let me know your experiences of watching them.
