This is my second album cover design for composer and musician Rick Kostelijk. The diversity and richness in sound design was to be visualized by the warm tones of the artwork. In addition I actually created a brass guitar pick with an engraved compass.
My second album cover design for musician and composer Rick Kostelijk. The front was also used for its realease oniTunes and Spotify. The theme of the title, the main instrument (guitar) and the rich and warm sound of the music led to this design.
To support the idea of a guitar pick with an engraved compass, I actually had my design produced by a specialized engraver in brass. At the launch of the cd it was given to the artist as an extra gift.
For the rest the inside sleeve and booklet matched the front design by warm tones and sea related objects.
